Because of its geographical conditions the Pannonian region has always been a melting pot of cultures. And Neusiedl am See too has a lot to offer culturally. Whether concerts, exhibitions or cabaret: culture lovers will not be disappointed.
The haus im puls is an open communication and cultural centre in the heart of Neusiedl am See. The townhouse, first mentioned at around 1500 and thus the oldest house in the town, is a place where guests will find plenty to interest them: either at one of the more than 50 events held annually, organised by IMPULSE, a private cultural society, or at the Weinwerk Burgenland, also housed here.
For over 20 years, IMPULSE has organised events that take place either in the multi-purpose hall or in the barn space, the Kulturstadl.
Our recipe for success is art and culture for everyone: a colourful mix of music, cabaret, readings, painting and theatre coupled with some real cultural highlights. These include the Neusiedl town festival on the first Saturday in August. For a day, the main street becomes one long kilometer of festive events – and live bands, music, delicious food & drink, dance, entertainment, atmosphere and international street art dominate the townscape – all day and all night.
